CLASS OF SIXTY-EIGHT HOSTS TWO A.F.S. STUDENTS
| Not a Kangaroo, not a koala bear, but Phillip Hebblethwaite came to us from Tasmania, Australia, this year. Although having the bounce of a kangaroo and the cuteness of a koala bear, Phil has a personality all of his own. He, athletic, outgoing, and congenial has been a friend to all of us at D.H.S. Having him in our classes has given us the opportunity to learn about his part of the world and to know a unique individual. Phil, active in A.F.S. track, and student council, has been a very real contributing member of our class. It was fun watching him on the football field and we were glad to have had him on our track team. Next year Phil plans to take an extensive program in Science at the University of Tasmania. We shall be sorry to see him leave but we wish him good fortune and hope that someday soon he will return. |
