The Class of '68 is especially proud of two of its top students, Philip Rapoza and Lawrence Washington. Philip won the Southern Massachusetts "Voice of Democracy" Contest with his speech entitled "Freedom's Challenge." He was judged on the quality and presentation of his speech. Larry participated in the 27th Annual Westinghouse Science Talent Search, in which his project, "Circular Analytic Geometry," was placed in the honors group. Because of his potential in science, Larry was one of three hundred students across the country who were accorded this honor.
