Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hazell
 Mr. and Mrs. Hazell -- Henry and Claire Irene
(La Combe) Hazell of Phillips Road, New Bedford, celebrated their 50th
wedding anniversary March 24 at a surprise party given by their son and
daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Hazell of Coral Springs, Fla. The event was held at the Century House, Acushnet,
and attended by friends and relatives from Florida to Nevada, New
Bedford and surrounding towns. The couple were married March 24, 1951, at Grace
Episcopal Church, New Bedford. Mr. Hazell is a retired gas distribution foreman
from New Bedford Gas Edison Light Company, where he worked for 31 years.
Mrs. Hazell is a homemaker. They have two granddaughters. |
